2025 Private Job Vacancies Flatten Out in Oregon
Oregon private employers reported 58,500 job openings at any given time in 2025, according to a release from the Oregon Employment Department (OED).

This was very similar to the 57,800 job openings seen in 2024, new data from the OED’s Job Vacancy Survey shows.

Senior research analyst Anna Johnson reports that the health care and social assistance industry saw the strongest level of hiring in 2025, with over a quarter of all vacancies coming from companies in that sector.
